Congratulations to Ivan Chernyshev who graduated with his PhD from IQuS, with a thesis entitled Developing techniques for Simulation of SU(3) Quantum Field Theories on State-of-the-Art Quantum Devices e-Print: 2502.02502 [quant-ph]. Ivan joined our effort at the earliest stages of developing quantum simulations of fundamental systems, including non-Abelian lattice gauge theories, and investigations into the quantum complexity in the evolution of neutrinos in dense systems. Ivan is now a Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory working in the area of quantum simulations.
